About the film
Set inside the high-pressure world of women’s mixed martial arts, EFC follows reigning champion Cassady Jones as she prepares to face rising contender Alexa Star. As competition intensifies inside and outside the cage, ambition, loyalty and personal sacrifice collide in a sports drama about resilience and the cost of remaining on top.
Filmed in Toronto, EFC combines character-driven drama with carefully staged fight sequences and an original score that blends cinematic orchestration with hip-hop and trap influences. The film was released digitally in 2024 and is available across major digital platforms.
